We raise champion-line Persian companions underfoot in a serene, cage-free home. Every kitten is nurtured with devotion to ensure excellent health, sweet temperaments, and gentle grace.
Celestial Persians is a small, cage free cattery in San Diego, California county. We specialize in gorgeous, sweet temperament shaded silver & golden persians you can possibly find. We do not make a living from this, so therefore it is not a business and our breeding program is our labor of love and that shows in the temperament and quality of our kittens. Our shaded silver & golden kittens are caring and playful. We strive to breed ouR cats to CFA Show Standard but on occasion get kittens that do not meet the Standard and those kittens are sold as pets to caring and loving homes. Occasionally we do offer for sale our kittens to other breeders with breeding programs in place or to people who enjoy exhibiting them at the shows.
All of our silver shaded & golden kittens are registered with the Cat Fanciers Association {CFA} and are raised freely in our home with patience, personal attention and loving care. Even though we live in San Diego county, Kittens can be safely, carefully and lovingly transported anywhere with the use of a professional nanny.
CFA Breed Standard for CHINCHILLA, SHADED SILVER, CHINCHILLA GOLDEN & SHADED GOLDEN
CHICHILLA SILVER - Undercoat pure white. Coat on back, flanks, head and tail sufficiently tipped with black to give the characteristic sparkling silver appearance. Legs may be slightly shaded with tipping. Chin, ear tufts, stomach and chest are pure white. Rims of eyes, lips and nose are outlined by black. Nose leather; brick red. Paw pads; black. Eye color; green or blue-green. Disqualify for incorrect eye color, incorrect eye color being copper, yellow, gold, amber, or any color other than green or blue-green.
SHADED SILVER - Undercoat white with a mantle of black tipping shading down sides, face and tail from dark on the ridge to white on the chin, chest, stomach and under the tail.Legs to be the same tone as the face. The general effect to be such darker than a chinchilla. Rims of eyes, lips and nose are outlined by black. Nose leather; brick red. aw pads; black. Eye color; green or blue-green. Disqualify for incorrect eye color, incorrect eye color being copper, yellow, gold, amber, or any color other than green or blue-green.
CHINCHILLA GOLDEN: Undercoat pale honey to bright apricot. Coat on back, flanks, head, and tail sufficiently tipped with black to enhance a golden appearance. Legs and end of tail may be shaded with tipping. Chin, ear tufts, stomach, and chest, consistent dilute color, much lighter in tone than the undercoat color. The general effect is lighter than a shaded golden due to less tipping. Rims of eyes, lips, and nose outlined with black. Nose leather: rose. Paw pads: black. Eye color: green or blue-green. Disqualify for incorrect eye color, incorrect eye color being copper, yellow, gold, amber, or any color other than green or blue-green.
SHADED GOLDEN: Undercoat pale honey to bright apricot with a mantle of black tipping shading down from the sides, face, head and tail. Legs to be the same tone as the face. Ear tufts, chin, chest, stomach and underside of the tail, consistent dilute color, much lighter in tone than the undercoat. The general effect is darker than a chinchilla golden due to more tipping. Rims of eyes, lips, and nose outlined with black. Nose leather: rose. Paw pads: black. Eye color: green or blue-green.
